Dziś jednak spotkała mnie niespodzianka właśnie związana z kodowaniem. Otóż po ściągnięciu wysłaniu pliku z ftpa kodowanie samoistnie zmieniło się na jakieś dziwne, tzn. zniknęły ogonki i pojawiły się dziwne krzaki typu "~A^3". W Edycja -> Kodowanie nic nie było zaznaczone, choć wcześniej było UTF-8. Na serwerze jest wszystko ok, bo pozmieniałem ręcznie z powrotem na polskie, wysłałem na serwer, pokazało dobrze, ściągnąłem z powrotem do edytora i pokazały się krzaki oraz kodowanie było odznaczone.

Ponieważ działo się tak tylko z jednym plikiem, zacząłem usuwać po kolei bardziej podejrzane linie kodu i wysyłać/ściągać plik żeby sprawdzić co powoduje zmianę kodowania, okazało się w końcu że winowajcą jest linijka:

Jest dość istotna przy wysyłaniu maila przez serwer, więc za bardzo nie chcę się z nią rozstawać.

A więc, czy jest na to jakaś rada, czy to może ja źle coś robię, w takim wypadku proszę o wyznaczenie pokuty i rozgrzeszenia Wink

There was much done since last alpha, so it's time to share it with you.
On the other hand there are still some fundamental features to implement (like "Replace" dialog), so I don't mind releasing it as "beta".

What has changed? A lot!:

Full XDebug support (local/global variables, call stack, breakpoints, output redirecting, eval console, watches)
PHP Code Completion and Code Hint - improved a lot. Parsing results stored in single binary file. Standard PHP 5 functions & classes library provided.
Project management: store your opened documents, assigned breakpoints (xdebug) etc - all that in single project file.
Documentation - It is quite complete, I know HateML 1 lacked documentation a lot, hope this time I was able to avoid that
New plugin: MySQL Manager
New plugin: HTML & CSS code completion
Lots of bugfixes and enhancements.

To-Do before releasing beta.

Some kind of configuration dialog
Search/Replace dialog
Improve parsing background thread handling (it might slow-down the GUI a lot, it shouldn't!)
FTP support (might eventually be included in beta2 to avoid waiting that long)

So, what has changed since last version?

Search & replace, with term highlighting and incremental search

However this time I promise you I'll publish it as soon as I complete the following features:

1. unified Project Configuration (and General Configuration) stored in one file / directory, which is common for all the plugins and the application itself.
2. integrate CodeCompletion for PHP with HateML fully. There are some features already created (like "Jump to declaration") which are not exposed to users yet. Also, the Code Hint (aka params completion), Code navigation with Document Tree and some ComboBox not available yet. The library of standard PHP functions & classes, generated out of PHP manual will also be included.
3. many simple but significant bug fixes

I know the order of menu items is rather silly but it wasn't most important over here. It is too late and I'm too tired to recompille the project in order to capture new screenshots ... sorry Wink

PHP parsing description

So, I worked hardly on parsing PHP documents and came up with quite good & fast parser. It parses not only currently edited document, but all the files in given directory (configured in Project Options). I decided to do so, to avoid quite tricky file inclusion in PHP (in example, handling Lazy loading is almost impossible). The parser stores all the files in memory, so the parsing of framework files is done only once (until you modify some of the files of course). By default, when turning off HateML, the parsed data is saved to a single binary file which is quite big, but is loaded much, much faster than parsing the php files (it's 50-200 times faster ... or even more.)
The parser handles lots of tricky variables declaration, and uses PhpDoc tags (@return tag) to handle even more. The PhpDoc is also used for displaying info on functions, classes and variables.

Numbers:
On my, rather old, 5-years old machine (Windows XP SP2 working in Virtual machine [VirtualBox, host: Ubuntu, 512RAM]) it took ~180 sec. to parse Zend Framework. The generated binary file was about 10Mb and, on the next start of IDE, loaded in time of under 2 sec.
